  • The first meeting with all clients seeking services at The Arete Center consists of a 90-minute comprehensive psychosocial and diagnostic interview with the patient (and caregivers, if appropriate), followed by a transparent review of our clinical impressions and a collaborative discussion of the most appropriate services. This session also involves a discussion of the Arete Center philosophy and our approach to treatment.

    All clients meet with a licensed and/or board-certified practitioner.

    Medication Management

  • The initial appointment is a diagnostic interview lasting up to 90 minutes. During this meeting, you can address areas of concern and share any relevant background information. At the end of the appointment, Dr. Walick or Dr. Cheney will discuss the treatment plan and schedule any follow-up appointments.

    Per best practices, any prescriptions will only be called in for patients who maintain their regularly scheduled appointments.
